Bespoke Services

Bespoke Services by Robert Oliver

Your collection tells your story. The purpose of our bespoke services is to ensure the way you display that collection becomes part of that story. Our bespoke services are not limited to watch displays, winders, or cabinetry; only limited by your imagination. If you have an idea, we will bring it to life.

Robert Oliver, our in-house designer and builder, brings together experience from multiple disciplines, creating a unique perspective that few craftsmen possess. His background includes three years in construction, electrical work, and general contracting; a decade in high-performance automotive customization; three years in automotive finance; half a decade specializing in carpentry and fine woodworking; five years in construction and contracting; and a lifetime love of horology. This diverse foundation allows him to approach every project with equal attention to engineering, functionality, craftsmanship, and design.

That lifelong passion for horology and lifetime of experience come together to form the philosophy behind every bespoke piece created through Auxilium Designs. Each project is designed not simply to store watches, but to become a lasting heirloom that reflects the collector behind it.

Robert's horological journey began with a watch given to him by his father at just five years old. Like many childhood treasures, that first watch didn't survive long on the playground—but the memory of receiving it never faded. When his father passed away eight years later, the only family heirlooms he inherited were his father's Fossil watch and his grandfather's military watch. From that moment on, watches became far more than timepieces—they became reminders of milestones, memories, and the people who shape our lives.

At nineteen, he purchased his first very first watch: a Fossil Twist. Today, his collection has grown and ranges from his Fossil Twist and Echo/Neutra Rivanera to a Norqain Wild One, a 1967 Omega Speedmaster and a classic Rolex Day-Date alike. Each watch represents a chapter of his life, a milestone achieved, or a memory preserved.

That belief is at the heart of every bespoke commission.

Your collection is unlike anyone else's. Every watch represents something different—an achievement earned, a loved one remembered, a milestone celebrated, or a chapter of life preserved. It deserves more than being tucked away when it isn't on your wrist. It deserves a piece that displays your story with the same care and intention that went into building the collection itself.

Every bespoke project begins with a personal design consultation, available in person or virtually through FaceTime, Zoom, or a similar platform. During this meeting, Robert works directly with you to understand your collection, your vision, your space, and the story you want your piece to tell.

From there, ideas begin to take shape through a combination of hand-drawn sketches, CAD modeling, AI-assisted concept development, and countless hours of refinement. These tools allow concepts to be explored, refined, and visualized from multiple perspectives before a single piece of material is ever cut. But technology is only part of the process. Every design still relies on experience, craftsmanship, problem-solving, and plenty of elbow grease to transform an idea into a functional and personal work of art.

The result is a one-of-a-kind piece designed specifically for you—balancing engineering, aesthetics, and practicality while creating an heirloom worthy of the collection it was built to protect.
